Using Float
Launching
Create a Pump.fun token with one Float launch mode.
Create your token#
- 1
Add the details
Choose a name, ticker, description and image. Social links are optional. - 2
Authorize from your wallet
Connect a wallet and sign the authorization message. This identifies the creator; it is not a trade. - 3
Wait for the receipt
Float validates the details, saves metadata and creates the Pump.fun token. The final launch receipt links to its token page.
The creator-fee buffer#
New Float launches direct creator fees into the Float collection flow. Verified net creator fees, after actual network costs, fund that token’s reserve. The current policy takes no platform cut from these net creator fees.
Launching a token does not pre-fund loss protection. The buffer starts from the fees actually collected, and any rebate remains subject to eligibility and available funds.
If the result is uncertain#
If confirmation or the connection is interrupted, Float reconciles the existing launch. Keep its recovery state and avoid submitting a second launch until the final outcome is known.
A simulation receipt means no transaction was sent. A finalized launch receipt means the token exists on-chain. These are different outcomes.
