Using Float
Trading
Buy and sell from your wallet, with quotes and slippage limits.
Your wallet signs the trade#
Choose buy or sell, enter an amount and review the quote. Buys are entered in SOL and sells in tokens. Select a slippage tolerance before signing the transaction in your wallet.
A quote is an estimate. The market can move before your transaction lands. Network fees, token-account rent and trading fees can affect your balance.
Trading beyond Float#
Tokens use the standard Pump.fun flow and can trade through compatible external terminals. After graduation, liquidity moves to PumpSwap. Float does not require a wallet registration or custom transfer-hook resolver.
External trades only become supported rebate history when the index can verify them. Trading somewhere else is not proof that the wallet’s complete cost basis is available.
A trade can change your eligibility#
A sell reduces current holdings. A transfer can make acquisition history unsupported. Rebates already paid are accounted for when calculating uncovered loss; repeated eligibility checks do not make the same loss payable twice.
Trade with the full risk in mind
The reserve can be empty or insufficient. A token can fall to zero. Do not treat a possible rebate as a reason a trade cannot lose money.
